Job summary

Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India, seeks a Manager - Strategic Sourcing to lead category and commodity management from Ahmednagar Factory. The role requires 5–10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical.

You will drive cost reduction, supplier development, cross-functional collaboration with Design, Engineering and Quality, and ensure PPAP/APQP readiness and timely production launches.

• Based at Ahmednagar Factory, India.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key commodities.
• Lead sourcing for new product development with cross-functional teams.
• Drive annual material cost reduction and supplier risk management.
• Conduct should-cost analysis, benchmarking, and negotiation management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and Logistics.
