Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to support enterprise-wide software asset governance, licensing compliance, and asset lifecycle management initiatives.

You will manage software assets, administer SAM/ITAM processes, ensure licensing compliance, and support audits while collaborating with IT, procurement, finance and vendor teams to drive governance and optimization across the software estate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of strong experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) and/or IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• Knowledge of software licensing models, compliance requirements, entitlement management, renewals, and software audits.
• Experience with SAM tools (Flexera, ServiceNow SAM Pro, HPAM, Snow Software).
• Strong understanding of software inventory and lifecycle management processes.
• Experience in reporting, dashboard creation, and compliance metrics development.

Responsibilities

• Support software audits and vendor engagements, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
• Develop and maintain software inventory, asset repositories, and governance documentation.
• Generate dashboards, metrics, compliance reports, and management insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, procurement, finance, and vendor management teams.
