Job summary

IQBackOffice is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee the full accounting cycle and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL, and payroll while leading month-end and year-end closings.

You will prepare statements, analyze variances, and support budgeting, forecasting, and audits. Mentoring and process improvements will be key to maintaining financial integrity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience in end-to-end accounting.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting, including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting; monitor variances and trends.
• Ensure compliance and maintain internal controls; support audits.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff; foster a high-performance team.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide financial insights for strategic projects and cross-functional work.
