Job summary

Cloudstaff is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to own day-to-day activities across AP, AR, and the general ledger. The role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple vendor and client relationships while driving month-end close and reporting cycles.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of accounting experience in professional services, agency, or multi-entity environments.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and the full accounting cycle.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• CPA candidacy or interest in pursuing licensure.
• Exposure to BPO environments and multi-client accounting is a plus.
• Experience with chargebacks and vendor/client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own AP processes: vendor invoices, approvals, and payments.
• Own AR processes: client invoicing, aging, and collections support.
• Manage GL activities: journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Support variance analysis, audits, and ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Maintain organized workpapers and accurate supporting documentation.
