Job summary

JTI Liggett in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Sales & Operations Planning Manager to lead quarterly cycle planning across Sales, Marketing and Finance. You will translate priorities into structured, executable plans and coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders to drive aligned execution in the field.

You will manage timelines, dependencies and KPI-driven insights to improve planning accuracy, balance capacity, and ensure cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or commercial planning.
• Experience developing or managing sales planning or promotional execution.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to translate priorities into actionable plans.
• Strong cross-functional project management skills across teams.
• Strong analytical skills with KPIs and data for decision-making.
• Strong communication and influencing skills for alignment across teams.
• Strong collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance and partners.
• Ability to assess operational constraints and translate into executable plans.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within timelines.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Leads the quarterly sales cycle planning process to develop go-to-market plans.
• Coordinates planning inputs from Sales, Marketing, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Aligns priorities, brand initiatives, trade programs and pricing actions within planning cycles.
• Establishes planning timelines, milestones, dependencies and inputs.
• Ensures commercial priorities are translated into clear, actionable plans for the sales organization.
• Incorporates KPI results and learnings into future planning cycles.
• Facilitates cross-functional alignment and prioritization when capacity is constrained.
• Develops cycle plan deliverables and materials for field execution.
• Supports field readiness and consistent communication of planning information.
