SUN BATTLEDORE INC is seeking a strategic Sales and Distribution leader to drive revenue growth across multi-brand retail stores, wholesale partners, and consignment channels. The role focuses on developing annual plans, analyzing market trends, and expanding key accounts.

You will oversee end-to-end distribution, manage consignment, optimize logistics costs, and lead merchandising and field teams. Regular audits, planogram adherence, and performance reviews are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual sales plans to achieve revenue targets across multi-brand retail stores, wholesale partners, and consignment channels.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify white space opportunities for new product lines and geographic expansion.
• Manage and expand relationships with key accounts, including regional distributors, department stores, and corporate sports partners.
• Design and implement sales incentive programs to motivate field teams and store personnel.
• Oversee the end-to-end distribution process, ensuring timely delivery of stock to retail branches, wholesale accounts, and consignment partners.
• Consignment Management: Manage relationships where the company retains ownership of stock until the point of sale.
• Inventory Risk: Collaborate with Warehouse and Inventory teams to minimize stock-outs and manage dead inventory through strategic liquidations or transfers (Stock Balancing).
• Audit & Shrinkage: Conduct regular physical inventory counts and wall-to-wall audits at partner locations to reconcile actual stock against system records.
• Cost Management: Optimize distribution routes and logistics costs to improve the company's Cost to Serve metrics.
• Partner with the marketing team to ensure Planogram adherence and effective Point-of-Sale (POS) material deployment.
• Monitor Share of Shelf and brand visibility across all retail and consignment touchpoints.
• Conduct regular site visits to audit store performance, service quality, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and train the sales and distribution teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Conduct performance appraisals and identify training needs related to product knowledge (e.g., technical specs of rackets, footwear technology).
• Manage the recruitment and onboarding of sales supervisors, field merchandisers, and account managers.
