Job summary

UnionBank is seeking a Reliability Officer to strengthen risk management within the first line of defense. The role emphasizes governance, risk assessment, and collaboration with risk owners, 2LOD, auditors, and regulators to improve controls and data quality.

Candidate will lead RBI-related activities, adapt control frameworks, and ensure policy adherence while driving cost-efficient risk operations and operational resilience across the unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 3-8 years in risk management, internal controls, audit, or process improvement within financial services.
• Strong grasp of GRC frameworks and control assurance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory services to risk and control owners.
• Lead governance, risk, and compliance activities (RCSA, BIA, RP).
• Support issue management and incident reporting to mitigate risks.
• Ensure URCO guidelines are implemented with business units and stakeholders.
• Align risk taxonomy and KPI monitoring with standards.
