Job summary

Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm, is seeking a Resource Manager to align workforce capacity with engagement demand and provide data-driven insights to leadership.

You will own staffing, capacity planning, forecasting, and cross-functional workforce coordination, collaborating with practice leaders and resource pod leaders to balance workloads, identify risks, and ensure timely staffing across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Tax or Audit resource management, workforce planning, or staffing.
• Experience with resource allocation, capacity planning, utilization, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret workforce and performance data.
• Experience using workforce management, scheduling, and reporting tools.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and resolve staffing conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources based on skills, availability, timing, and engagement requirements.
• Partner with practice leaders and resource pod leaders to balance workloads and align staffing with client commitments.
• Monitor capacity, utilization, forecast accuracy, and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Resolve staffing conflicts and urgent needs while communicating decisions clearly.
• Maintain accurate resource plans, schedules, and workforce data across systems.
• Lead recurring alignment meetings focused on supply and demand and forecasting.
• Coordinate cross-pod, onshore, offshore, and outsourced staffing activities.
• Support adoption of workforce planning processes and reporting tools.
