Job summary

WeSupport, Inc. is seeking an experienced Test Manager in the Philippines to define functional and automated test strategies for projects and oversee QA deliverables. The role emphasizes testability review, defect monitoring, and team leadership to meet tight SLAs.

The candidate should have 3+ years of Test Manager experience, strong knowledge of MySQL, and hands-on skills in manual and automated testing tools. English and Filipino communication skills are essential for client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years as a Test Manager.
• Experience in Test Case creation and analysis.
• Manual and automated testing experience (Selenium WebDriver, TestComplete).
• Strong defect reporting and monitoring experience.
• Strong MySQL database skills; other DBs a plus.
• Knowledge of PHP/Java is a plus.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong leadership to supervise a team.
• Test-to-break mindset and meticulousness.
• Excellent communication in English and Filipino.

Responsibilities

• Define functional and automated test strategy for the project.
• Review requirements and design to ensure testability.
• Track and report testing activities, results, coverage, defects and baselines.
• Maintain and document testing artifacts and evidence.
• Issue SQA Certificate when defect-free status is achieved.
• Review strategy and test cases.
• Manage SQA deployment and repositories.
• Provide accurate status reports to PM.
• Participate in risk analysis and task estimation.
• Oversee SQA deliverables for each project.
• Drive initiatives to improve skills, quality, and efficiency.
• Participate in process standardization and improvement.
• Handle other related tasks as assigned.
