Job summary

The FAO Philippines Office invites applications for a Programme Management Specialist to support the implementation and monitoring of rural development projects. Based in Mandaluyong City, the role focuses on expanding programme portfolios, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring alignment with CPF timelines.

The position requires a degree in agriculture or related field, at least 7 years of experience, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Agriculture or related field.
• At least 7 years professional experience in planning, implementation and monitoring of rural development programmes/projects.
• Working knowledge (level C) of English.
• A national of the Philippines or a legal resident with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Support expansion of the programme portfolio, resource mobilization, and in preparing reports and technical documents.
• Develop proposals, concept notes, technical briefs, reports and knowledge products for agriculture and rural development and emergency preparedness.
• Coordinate with consultants and monitor project implementation to ensure inputs and deliverables meet timelines and requirements.
• Assist in opening projects, tracking budgets, and processing revisions in coordination with FAO officers.
• Support monitoring of programmes and mobilized resources for the country office.
• Prepare background material and tables for briefings, reviews and meetings.
