Job summary

FAO Representation in The Philippines seeks an experienced Programme Management Specialist to oversee country-office projects under the CPF, ensuring compliance with FAO’s cycle guidelines. The role includes proposal development, budget tracking, and coordination with consultants and government partners.

Based in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, the post requires strong leadership, strategic planning and reporting skills to support agriculture, rural development and emergency preparedness efforts

Qualifications

• University degree in Agriculture, Agriculture Economics, Agribusiness Management, Rural Development or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in planning, implementation and monitoring of rural development programmes/projects.
• Working knowledge (level C) of English.
• A national of the Philippines or valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Support expansion of the programme portfolio, resource mobilization and preparation of reports and technical documents.
• Develop proposals, concept notes, technical briefs and donor reports.
• Develop terms of reference for affiliate workforce and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants and monitor project implementation against timelines.
• Open projects in corporate information systems and track budgets and revisions.
• Monitor programmes and mobilized resources of the country office.
• Prepare progress reports, donor reports and other project-related documents.
• Coordinate participation of Government in regional and global workshops and trainings.
