FAO Representation in The Philippines seeks a Programme Management Specialist to oversee country programmes and guide project portfolios. The role requires strategic coordination with partners and strong technical knowledge in agrifood systems and rural development.

Applicants should have a university degree in agriculture or related fields, with extensive experience, and fluent English. This is an on-site position based in Mandaluyong, Philippines, under FAO’s organizational framework.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Agriculture, Agriculture Economics, Rural Development or related field.
• AT LEAST 7 years professional and practical experience in planning, implementing and monitoring rural development programmes.
• Working knowledge (level C) of English and eligibility to work in the Philippines.

Responsabilités

• Support expansion of the country programme portfolio, resource mobilization and reports.
• Develop proposals, concept notes, technical briefs, and donor communications.
• Develop terms of reference for affiliate workforce and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with consultants and monitor project implementation and timelines.
• Assist in project budgeting, revisions and financial reporting.
• Review progress and prepare donor reporting and background materials.
