Job summary

COFICAB Philippines is seeking a Production Planning Coordinator to oversee orders, schedules and demand fluctuations, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels. You will work with procurement and warehouse to address shortages, assign gauge per line data, and manage urgent pull-ins while tracking production vs plan in real time.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience in logistics or manufacturing, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Customs Administration or four-year equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills; strong communication.
• Proficient in MS Office and capable of working with data.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders, delivery schedules, and demand fluctuations.
• Check availability of critical materials and coordinate with procurement and warehouse for shortages.
• Assign gauge based on approved line gauge assignments and sequence PO.
• Coordinate urgent requests and adjust schedules to maintain customer commitments.
• Track actual production vs. plan in real time.
• Maintain records of production output, backlog and WIP.
• Balance shortages and excess inventory; collaborate with Logistics to optimize the balance.
