Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Strategic Procurement & Awards Officer to manage end-to-end commercial bid processes, drive negotiation strategies, and coordinate with management and vendors. The role focuses on IT/Non-IT requests, contract governance, and continuous process improvement.

As a Junior Officer in FCS / General Services, you will lead a team, ensure governance, and collaborate across Bank Committees to optimize procurement outcomes within the Metrobank Center network in Taguig City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ strong exposure in project management.
• Exposure in handling various vendors in banking industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end commercial bid process including due diligence, evaluation, development and recommendation of transactions for approval, and negotiation strategies.
• Coordinate with Management, Business Units and Vendors during negotiation strategy and negotiations meetings.
• Submit Vendor Performance and Review Checklist (Non-IT Only) and conduct basic vendor accreditation.
• Prepare weekly status reports and track team metrics to measure performance.
• Coach and develop junior resources and implement continuous improvements to processes and templates.
