Qualifications

• Strong command of English; effective cross‑functional communication.
• Ability to perform in-depth cost analysis and weigh transaction options.
• Must be able to make quick, objective, and logical purchasing decisions for quality, quantity, price and timing.

Responsibilities

• Review routine to complex proposals and negotiate prices within an established range.
• Establish supplier specifications, scheduling, and obtain pricing approvals as needed.
• Maintain purchase order logs and monitor cost increases or price reductions.
• Support new or improved products and projects by recommending alternatives.
• Continuously source new and better supply sources and monitor price trends.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure costs are kept at optimum levels.
