Qualifications

• Experience in supplier evaluation, accreditation, and performance monitoring.

• Good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain operations.

Role Description

The Strategic Procurement Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Valenzuela City. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing materials, preparing and processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with production requirements. The role involves evaluating and developing suppliers, conducting contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, and maintaining accurate procurement records and reports. The specialist will monitor market trends and pricing, analyze data to optimize cost and quality, and collaborate closely with production, finance, and quality teams to support operational efficiency. The role also includes contributing to procurement policies, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain.

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management
• Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills
• Experience in supplier evaluation, accreditation, and performance monitoring
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
• Good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain operations

Highly Preferred

• Experience in flexible packaging, plastics, printing, converting, chemicals, or related manufacturing industries
• Knowledge of packaging raw materials such as films/substrates, inks, adhesives, solvents, resins, and other production materials
• Experience with ERP systems
• Knowledge of importation, logistics, and Incoterms
• Experience in contract and commercial negotiation
