Job summary

Potato Corner is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Mandaluyong to manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and cost-saving initiatives. The role focuses on ensuring timely deliveries, evaluating supplier performance, and driving process improvements for efficient procurement in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of purchasing experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in related field.
• 2–3 years' experience in purchasing or procurement (FMCG).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledgeable in sourcing materials such as packaging and perishable goods.
• Knowledge of Acumatica is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Creates Purchase Orders and ensures on-time and complete delivery of stocks.

• Maintains documentation on items and specifications.
• Monitors and assesses suppliers’ performance.
• Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate.

1. Creates Purchase Orders and ensures on-time and complete delivery of stocks.
2. Communicates any quality issues to the suppliers and the resolution of complaints/reports to stakeholder.
3. Canvas on suppliers and acquisition costs for new and existing items.
