Job summary

Priority Consultants is looking for a Public Relations Manager to lead client relationships and drive impactful communications programmes. You will bring judgement, sector understanding, and consistent execution to deliver measurable results for diverse clients across APAC markets.

You’ll thrive by proactively shaping programmes, building media relationships, and guiding delivery across time zones and cultures, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree (or higher) in public relations, communications, business management, mass communications, journalism, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in public relations, with social media communications experience preferred.
• Excellent English (written and spoken).
• Strong client relationship and customer-focused skills.
• Ability to work effectively with people across time zones and diverse cultures.
• Strong media relations skills and understanding of traditional PR.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
• Willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and develop new skills.
• Highly driven and results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting key performance metrics.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and support the development of profitable, long-term partnerships.
• Provide proactive counsel based on industry trends, business developments, and client objectives.
• Plan and conceptualise communications programmes across media engagement, internal communications, and events.
• Execute programmes based on agreed client engagement plans, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Measure, modify where necessary, and report proactively on programme results.
• Develop, build, and maintain strong relationships with media and influencers.
• Research and develop original news releases, adapt corporate releases, and prepare other communications materials for local distribution.
• Follow up on media releases to secure coverage, interviews, and content placement opportunities.
• Monitor the media for relevant news trends, trending stories, and content relevant to the client’s business.
• Understand the competitor landscape and identify opportunities to strengthen client positioning.
