Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an M&A analyst to perform financial, commercial, and operational analyses of companies and projects. You will draft transaction materials and support business development while advising clients on strategy, structuring, and negotiations.

You will handle multiple projects concurrently and build sector expertise and a broad professional network within a global firm, collaborating across teams to deliver enhanced transaction solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate finance/M&A processes, analysis (financial models, valuation, buyer/seller universe, strategic alternatives, etc.), and completion of deliverables (information memoranda and other documentation).
• Excellent analytical skills; demonstrates negotiation or influencing abilities.
• Able to demonstrate confidence in client situations and establish value through sector insight.
• Experience working under tight deadlines and maintaining team morale during lengthy transactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Extensive business network is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial, commercial, operational analysis of companies and projects.
• Conduct sector analysis or industry research.
• Draft transaction materials (teasers, information memoranda, etc.).
• Support new business development and pitch documents; participate in client pitches.
• Advise clients on transaction strategy including tactics, deal structuring and negotiation strategy.
• Support multiple projects and transactions simultaneously.
• Develop sector expertise and your network to grow origination capabilities.
• Collaborate with specialists and colleagues globally to deliver enhanced transaction solutions.
