Job summary

Gratitude Philippines is seeking a Vice President to lead the Fund Accounting Trades team in Manila. You will manage end-to-end workflow across the market trade lifecycle with emphasis on accuracy, controls, and service delivery.

You will lead a trades team responsible for reconciliations, exception management, and timely completion of daily processing and sign-offs, partnering with risk and operations to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Trades or fund accounting.
• Minimum 4 years as People Manager.
• Operational subject matter expertise in reconciliation, settlements, and trade support.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate managers.

Responsibilities

• Maximize team capacity through resource planning, training, and succession planning.
• Ensure daily controls and processing are completed and signed off, including inquiries, break/event management, and metrics.
• Own department issues and elevate to leadership.
• Ensure adherence to escalation policies, procedures, and ethics standards.
• Manage people with direction, coaching, and communication of regulatory changes.
• Review and improve SOPs reflecting new policies and risk management activities.
• Act as focal point during issue planning and crises, providing quick assessments.
• Ensure business continuity and concentration plans are in place and tested.
• Validate exceptions and drive practical solutions.
• Represent Global Trades with clients, promoting strategy, products, and capabilities.
• Contribute to product strategy by building business cases and governance.
