Accenture in the Philippines is seeking a Labor & Employment Counsel Manager to support its Employment Law function. The role provides strategic and operational legal advice on employment matters, including counseling, litigation oversight and policy development.

The candidate will advise on outsourcing, restructuring and transactions, manage external counsel, and offer guidance to senior HR and management on employment-law risk, while monitoring developments in Philippine labor law.

Qualifications

• JD or LL.B. from a recognized institution and admission to the Philippine Bar.
• Labor-law specialization or master's degree is advantageous but not required.
• 6+ years of labor and employment law experience with multinational or large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational advice on Philippine labor and employment matters.
• Oversee employment litigation and pre-litigation matters, coordinating with HR and external counsel.
• Develop internal employment-law guidelines, toolkits and resources.
• Advise on outsourcing, restructuring and M&A from an employment-law perspective.
• Monitor regulatory developments and update policies accordingly.
• Train Legal staff and educate senior management on employment-law risk.
• Collaborate with regional/global colleagues on cross-border matters.
• Escalate significant matters to Employment Law leadership as needed.
