Job summary

Metrobank seeks an experienced Strategic Procurement & Awards Officer to manage end-to-end IT/Non-IT bid processes, including due diligence, evaluation, and award strategies. You will oversee timelines, scope, costs, risks, and quality, coordinating with PMD, ITG, business units, and vendors to support negotiation and award activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree holder.
• At least 5 years strong exposure in project management.
• Exposure in handling various vendors in banking industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recommend transactions for approval to the Department Head or the Bank’s Negotiating Body.
• Develop, analyze, and recommend negotiation strategies and materials.
• Facilitate negotiation strategy discussions with PMD, ITG, Business Units, Vendors.
• Monitor commercial risks, project issues, and vendor concerns; propose mitigation actions.
• Prepare and publish status reports on IT and Non-IT requests; advise on bidding and award processes.
• Manage post-award activities: contract prep, negotiations, and vendor billings validation.
• Lead team development: coaching, training, and performance monitoring.
• Drive continuous improvements to policies, processes, templates, and best practices.
