Job summary

Cognizant in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Planning professional to manage inventory and plan supply across regional demand forecasts. The role emphasizes coordinating with suppliers, customers, and EMOs to ensure on-time deliveries and optimal stock levels.

You will develop rolling 12–18 month supply plans, raise purchase orders, and adjust plans based on changes while mitigating stockouts.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business with at least five years in a Supply Chain Planning role.
Strong communication and ability to collaborate across teams.
Analytical thinker with data-driven decision making.
Proficient in SAP, SAP IBP, Excel, Power Query and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Plan inventory to safety stocks and MOQ levels.
Manage short shelf life and SLOB materials.
Coordinate deliveries with market Customer Service teams, shared service teams, Freight Forwarders and sites.
Ensure timely availability of required commercial and shipping documents.
Drive freight costs and lead time optimization with EMOs and regional teams.
Develop supply plans per regional forecasts and policies.
Raise purchase orders per plan requirements and pricing.
Submit rolling 12-18 month supply forecasts to External Manufacturer.
Assess unplanned changes to supply and propose optimized solutions.
Create consistent planning documents with EMOs.
