Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Material Planner to coordinate material planning activities, manage MP parameters, and support inventory forecasting and SIOP processes. You will work with Finance, Master Data, Planning, and Operations to produce actionable insights and drive improvements across Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods.

Qualifications

• Experience in material planning, inventory management, or a related function.
• Working knowledge of MRP concepts, inventory planning, forecasting, and planning parameters.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and independent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to review inventory trends and drive actions to meet targets.
• Develop and maintain MP parameters per EMP, IE standards, and policies.
• Provide MP inputs to Master Data Planners (MOQ, Lot Sizes, Lead Times, Safety Stocks).
• Support forecasting with input/output models and analysis of inaccuracies.
• Manage inventory entitlement levels, rollups, and KPI analyses for exec reviews.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and improve reporting.
• Track performance against financial plans and support SIOP with inventory plans.
