Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a hands-on General Manager reporting to the US-based President. You will lead local operations, finance, HR, banking, administration and regulatory compliance for the Philippine entity, with a goal to grow the team from 15 to 30 employees.

You will oversee day-to-day activities, budgets, reporting, and compliance, while coordinating with US managers to ensure alignment and growth of the local operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience, including 3+ years in a management or senior supervisory position.
• Hands-on budgeting, cash-flow management and financial reporting experience.
• Demonstrated experience in HR administration and labor compliance in the Philippines.
• Experience working with banks, auditors, government agencies and professional advisers.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day business and administrative operations of the Philippine company.
• Set clear priorities, deadlines, procedures and accountability across the organization.
• Coordinate with US managers to support their efforts in the Philippines.
• Provide concise weekly/monthly reports covering finances, staffing, compliance and operations.
• Prepare and manage budgets, cash-flow forecasts, financial reports, payroll funding and vendor payments.
• Ensure timely bank reconciliations and supporting documentation for transactions.
• Oversee corporate banking relationships and payment controls.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, records, payroll coordination, benefits and performance management.
