Job summary

Jade Solutions and Management Services Inc. is seeking a senior accounting professional to lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple sites. You will supervise journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and prepare financial statement schedules with a strong focus on control standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA is preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years supervising a team.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, audit requirements, and internal controls.
• Experience in logistics, transport, warehousing, distribution, or another multi-site business is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and financial statement schedules.
• Review accounting for transport, warehousing, distribution, fleet, fuel, labor, leases, fixed assets, and other operating costs.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition, customer billing reconciliation, and recording of claims, deductions, and contract-related adjustments.
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts, and resolve unusual balances or reconciling items promptly.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements, external audits, internal audits, and timely resolution of audit findings.
• Work with tax and compliance teams on applicable Philippine tax filings and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, inventory-related reconciliations where applicable, and supporting schedules for leases and provisions.
• Provide accurate actual results and cost allocations to FP&A and operations for profitability and performance reporting.
• Manage, coach, and review the work of the general accounting team, with clear ownership of deadlines and controls.
