SHANGRI-LA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS AND SERVICES INC. is seeking a Service Manager-Procurement (Food Buyer) to support daily purchasing operations across regional hotels including Makati Shangri-La, Shangri-La at the Fort, and Edsa Shangri-La.

The role emphasizes integrity, cost reduction, and contract expansion with preferred suppliers. Candidates should have 2–5 years in assistant purchasing roles within hospitality, strong English, and proficiency in SAP or SCM and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years as Assistant Purchasing Manager or Assistant Cost Controller in hospitality.
• Experience with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g. SAP, SCM).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Area Purchasing Manager on daily purchasing operations.
• Demonstrate a high level of honesty and integrity in all dealings.
• Enhance the use of existing group contracts and establish regional contracts.
• Reduce the cost of operational purchases on a regional and unit basis while maintaining quality levels.
• Ensure all purchases meet the requirements of the region hotels.
• Secure contracts with suppliers on best commercial terms.
• Involve in facilitating CER requests depending on the assigned CER.
