Job summary

SHANGRI-LA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS AND SERVICES INC. invites a Service Leader - Procurement (Non-Food) to oversee procurement activities for Shangri-La Manila Properties.

You will coordinate with fixed assets, engineers, and other department heads to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality goods. The ideal candidate has at least two years in procurement or sourcing, experience with cross-functional teams, knowledge of SAP/SCM, strong Excel skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in Procurement/Sourcing in any industry.
• Experience with cross-functional teams (engineering projects).
• Knowledge of Procurement Systems (SCM, SAP, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Fluent in English and local language.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to set priorities and drive results.
• Demonstrates integrity and honesty.
• Smart with a pleasing personality; good negotiation skills.
• Self-starter and customer-oriented.
• Shows initiative and commitment to professional values.

Responsibilities

• Interact with fixed assets/property controller, chief stewards and other department heads related to operating equipment and collaterals for Shangri-La properties.
• Ensure that goods being ordered are delivered on time and in good quality.
• Interact closely with operating equipment and other non-F&B suppliers.
• Consolidate engineering products for better price negotiation and contracts.
• Facilitate and process renovation and projects across Shangri-La Manila properties.
