Job summary

SHANGRI-LA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS AND SERVICES INC. is hiring a Service Leader - Procurement (Non-Food) to oversee procurement for Shangri-La Manila properties, including Makati Shangri-La, Edsa Shangri-La, and Shangri-La at The Fort.

The role requires coordinating with fixed assets, engineers, and department heads to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effective contracts while driving supplier negotiations and project spend. Fluency in English and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably with at least 2 years work experience in Procurement/Sourcing from any business industry.
• Experience with cross functional teams (Engineering project involvement).
• Knowledgeable in Procurement System (SCM, SAP, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good communication and people management skills.
• Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language).
• Has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
• Able to communicate priorities and drives business results.
• Demonstrate high level of integrity and honesty.
• Smart with pleasing personality. Has good negotiation skills.
• A self-starter and customer-oriented.
• Displays initiative, commitment to professional values.

Responsibilities

• Interact with fixed assets/property controller, chief stewards and other department heads related to operating equipments and collaterals for Shangri-la properties
• Ensure that goods being ordered are delivered on time and in good quality
• Interact closely with operating equipment and other non-F&B supplier
• Consolidate engineering products for better price negotiation and contracts
• Facilitate and process renovation and projects both SLM
