IMCD Deutschland GmbH & Co KG is seeking a Principal Manager for Food & Nutrition to lead supplier management, strategic sourcing, and commercial growth. The role involves negotiating contracts, expanding the portfolio, and driving customer-focused solutions across markets in the Philippines.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration with technical and commercial teams, business development, and ensuring profitability through strategic planning and effective supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Chemistry, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; master's degree advantageous.
• 8–10 years of experience in food ingredients, nutrition, specialty chemicals, or related industries.
• Proven experience in principal management, supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and portfolio development within the Food & Nutrition industry.
• Strong experience in business development, customer engagement, strategic account management, and commercial growth initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in managing supplier relationships, conducting business reviews, and developing joint growth strategies with principals.
• Proven experience in pricing strategy, supplier negotiation, margin analysis, and profitability management.

Responsabilités

• Identify and source new suppliers and principals to expand the Food & Nutrition portfolio and strengthen market competitiveness.
• Evaluate potential suppliers based on product capabilities, market potential, technical support, and commercial value to ensure alignment with business growth objectives.
• Manage supplier contracts, agreements, and commercial terms to ensure effective partnership management and sustainable business performance.
• Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to evaluate performance, identify growth opportunities, and align strategic initiatives.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions with suppliers to optimize cost competitiveness and improve profitability.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships to secure product availability, market support, and long-term business collaboration.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the Food & Nutrition business and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Engage with customers to understand market needs, formulation challenges, and business opportunities to deliver relevant ingredient solutions and value-added support.
