Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking a meticulous Fixed Assets Accountant to ensure accurate asset tracking, depreciation calculations, and fixed asset reconciliations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to keep the general ledger up to date and compliant with company policies and GAAP standards. The role involves reviewing asset acquisitions and disposals, preparing detailed asset reports, and supporting internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with fixed assets accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience with month-end close process and finance controls.

Responsibilities

• Record and classify fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
• Ensure accuracy of fixed asset data, useful lives, and depreciation methods.
• Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledgers to the general ledger regularly.
• Prepare monthly depreciation and amortization entries.
• Maintain internal controls related to fixed asset accounting.
• Assist audits with documentation and schedules.
• Review purchase orders for capitalization vs. expense.
• Conduct quarterly impairment reviews of fixed assets.
