Job summary

ANZ in Manila is seeking a Financial Control Specialist to ensure accurate financial reporting, support regulatory compliance, and uphold internal controls. You will lead annual statements, own centralized processes, partner with onshore teams, drive process improvements, and help strengthen governance across Makati operations.

The role is permanent, dayshift, based in Solaris One Building, Makati City, with a focus on risk management and cross‑team capability building.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or related discipline; CA/CPA preferred.
• Experience with annual financial statements and audits is a plus.
• Strong interest in process re-engineering and continuous improvement.
• Extensive experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Deep knowledge of financial controls and governance practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review daily operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and control compliance.
• Prepare and review annual financial statements and notes; coordinate with auditors.
• Own centralized Finance Control processes across Manila.
• Interface with onshore teams for month-end and regulatory requirements.
• Learn and apply Finance Control system functionalities end-to-end.
• Identify risks and drive remediation and control improvements.
• Support knowledge sharing and capability uplift across the team.
