Job summary

SUMITOMO MITSUI BANKING CORP in the Philippines is seeking an experienced finance professional to support budgeting, forecasting, and mid‑term planning for the Branch. You will prepare and monitor departmental budgets and reports.

The role requires 3–5 years in management accounting and FP&A, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data tools. Banking experience is preferred and you will present at executive levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, management, or related field.
• 3–5 years in management accounting, budgeting, FP&A, and reporting.
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and performance-management knowledge.
• Experience producing executive reports and management information materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
• Banking operations or corporate planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning for the Branch.
• Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, expense reports, and management reports.
• Support cost-efficiency initiatives and resource utilisation.
• Analyze performance, profitability, productivity, and key metrics for decision making.
• Prepare presentations and business review materials for leadership.
• Coordinate strategic projects and regulatory initiatives.
• Drive process improvement, digitalisation, automation, and data analytics for reporting accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
