Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Finance professional to lead expense reporting and analysis in Metro Manila. The role focuses on building dashboards, preparing variance analyses, and delivering insights to improve cost discipline across departments.

You will partner with GOE Champions, coordinate the annual budgeting cycle, validate assumptions, and support monthly forecasts with risk and opportunity assessments. This position is based in Makati, requiring on-site collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expense dashboards, templates, and schedules.
• Prepare detailed variance analyses comparing actuals vs. budget, forecast, and historical periods.
• Identify spending trends, behavioral drivers, late accruals, and cost center inaccuracies.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve cost discipline.
• Analyze behavioral drivers, late accrual, cost center mischarging, etc.
• Serve as the primary Finance partner to departments regarding operating expense matters.
• Monthly variance reviews with departments' GOE Champions.
• Present insights during departmental business reviews, helping teams understand: What is driving expense increases? Which cost centers are overspending? Where can the company save?
• Coordinate the annual budgeting cycle for all department's GOE Champions.
• Validate budget assumptions based on historical patterns, planned business activities, headcount movement, etc.
• Ensure departmental budgets align with corporate cost management initiatives and goals
• Assist the departments on monthly forecast updates highlighting risks, opportunities, and identifying cost savings.
• Budget utilization rate and OPEX variance
• Forecast accuracy
• Expense reduction and cost savings achieved

• Timeliness of responses to budget owners
• Effectiveness in communicating risks and variances including engagement on budget control
