Job summary

GCash is seeking an experienced technology leader to align technology and business strategies, define the architectural blueprint, and guide enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. You will assess tools to reduce costs and partner with architects to build scalable, high-performance distributed systems.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in computer science, 12+ years of relevant experience, and exposure to TOGAF, DevOps, and Java/Spring microservices.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 12 years of combined experience in engineering management, system and/or enterprise architecture, programming, and software design.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, high performance distributed systems a plus (REST/microservices/Java/Spring)
• Experience implementing architecture frameworks such as TOGAF a plus
• Exposure to DevOps: continuous integration, automated testing, cloud deployments, etc.
• Experience with data modeling and architecture.
• Experience developing and implementing enterprise wide transformation initiatives a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment of technology strategy and business strategy.
• Identify programs and capabilities that will help Mynt realize its business goals.
• Work with fellow EAs to define the architectural blueprint and technology roadmap of Mynt, along with their recommended governance and execution strategies.
• Evaluate tools and technologies that we can use to reduce platform and operational costs, improve productivity, performance, and overall quality of our product.
• Collaborate with other architects and engineering leads to design and implement scalable, resilient system architectures.
• Collaborate with other team members to craft quality technical solutions.
