Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks a senior policy professional to formulate and update credit policies and oversee lending governance. You will coordinate policy manuals, ensure regulatory alignment, and lead risk-focused policy initiatives across consumer, commercial and SME loans.

The role requires deep knowledge of BSP regulations, eight+ years in policy or credit functions, and strong written and verbal communication with leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree holder in Business Administration, Economics, or Management.
• Strong working knowledge in developing policies for consumer, commercial, corporate and SME loans.
• Significant exposure to credit cycles for business loans; BSP regulations and best practices.
• Knowledge of various credit lines and loans offered to business entities.
• Eight years of experience in policy formulation and/or credit-related functions.
• Data-driven, analytical with excellent oral and written communication skills and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, formulate, review and update guidelines/policies governing bank lending activities; monitor policy exceptions.
• Oversee annual updating of Credit Policy Manuals and coordinate with RBSC; participate in Portfolio Reviews and Credit Committee meetings.
• Coordinate annual accreditation reviews of insurance companies per internal policies and approvals.
• Review Lending/Business Units' operations manuals to ensure policy alignment on credit matters.
• Ensure regulatory and audit compliance with BSP MORB and MTPP policies; address audit findings related to credit policies.
