Job summary

DATEM INC. is seeking a skilled Cost Engineer in Metro Manila to support project cost control and change management.

You will identify, document, estimate, and reconcile costs, ensuring accurate reporting and timely submission to clients. The ideal candidate has a Civil/Construction engineering background, at least 2 years in cost engineering, and proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, SAP, and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil/Construction/Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
PRC license is a plus, but not required.
2+ years of experience as Cost Engineer.
Knowledgeable with MS Office, AutoCAD, and SAP or similar software.
MS Project and Primavera Scheduling software knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Conduct Claims administration including identification, documentation, estimating, costing, submission, reconciliation with client, cost monitoring and resolution of matters related to change orders and claims.
Implement cost control measures through cost analyses and allocations.
Keep updated records and tracking of Cost and Change and Variation data for reporting and analysis.
Enforce ISO Procedure & Policy for cost and variations.
Perform ad hoc duties and cross-functional support as required.
