Job summary

CDCC Builders Inc. is seeking a Resident Engineer – Project Control to join our Construction Management team in the Cebu area. The role focuses on cost and schedule monitoring, baselines establishment, and coordination with contractors to keep projects on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will track progress, analyze deviations, prepare control reports, validate schedules and changes, and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions for project efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (preferably), Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Relevant professional certifications or licenses.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management with a focus on cost control, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of project cost control, scheduling methodologies (Primavera P6, MS Project), and earned value management (EVM).
• Knowledge of construction contracts, progress measurement, and change management.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost control tools (Excel, Cost Management Software).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for cost and schedule variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills for stakeholder coordination.
• Continuous professional development to stay updated on industry trends, risk management, and forecasting techniques.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive and results-driven, with a strong sense of accountability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and establish project cost and schedule baselines and control.
• Monitor expenditures and progress against baselines; identify deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Track and analyze progress in terms of cost, schedule, and resource utilization; validate contractor schedules and change orders.
• Identify potential risks affecting timelines and costs, providing mitigation and recovery planning.
• Prepare and maintain project control reports; document delays, cost variations, and corrective measures.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and the CM team to ensure cost and schedule control measures are effectively implemented.
