Qualifications

• Must be a licensed lawyer and a member in good standing of the IBP.
• Minimum of five years in corporate law or a similar role.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
• Ability to draft and negotiate contracts and handle disputes.
• Provide business‑oriented legal advice.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to management on corporate, commercial, labor, regulatory, and other matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Develop and implement corporate governance and risk management strategies.
• Identify and mitigate potential legal and regulatory risks.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations as needed.
• Coordinate with external counsel and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions and memoranda.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on actions.
• Provide legal support to various departments on operational matters.
• Assist in resolving disputes and maintaining records of legal matters.
