Job summary

Biyaheko.com Corporation in Makati is seeking a seasoned In-House Legal Counsel to provide legal guidance across the organization. You will manage legal risks, draft and review contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, and support governance.

You will initiate creation of manuals and HR policies, coordinate with management and cross-functional teams, handle disputes, coordinate with external counsel, and support board processes.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent law degree required.
• Admitted to practice law and in good standing.
• 3–5+ years of legal experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department.
• Experience in commercial contracts, corporate law, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in clear business terms.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely legal advice to management and business units on a wide range of legal matters.
• Draft, review, and manage commercial agreements including service, vendor/supplier, customer, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
• Ensure contracts protect the company while supporting business objectives.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and provide guidance on data privacy, anti-corruption, labor, and corporate governance requirements.
• Support corporate secretarial functions, governance activities, board meetings, resolutions, and filings.
• Manage disputes, claims, and legal proceedings; coordinate with external counsel as needed.
