Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Cross-disciplinary Controls professional to support end-to-end risk oversight, assessment and governance activities across multiple control domains.

You will help design, test and monitor controls, contribute to issue management, and produce consistent reporting for senior management and regulators. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in operational risk, compliance or audit within financial services, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
• Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
• Strong knowledge in the development and execution for controls.
• Proven experience in control related functions in the financial industry.
• Proven experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes.
• Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.
• Understanding of Citi’s Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness of existing controls and identify improvements.
• Drive controls enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Support execution of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and compliance with Risk Management policies.
• Oversee MCA program attestations, quality oversight, and reporting.
• Assist in MCA execution per ORM Policy, Standards, and Procedures.
• Conduct assessment activities to strengthen risk and controls quality.
• Help manage issues with stakeholders and participate in issue reviews.
• Develop standardized risk and controls reporting for senior management and regulators.
• Support Citi governance committees with meetings and action tracking.
