Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Cross-disciplinary Controls Sr. Analyst in the Markets Shared Controls Group to maintain a robust internal control environment.

You will design and implement controls, conduct independent reviews, and monitor effectiveness to ensure policy and regulatory compliance across global markets. You will partner with MSCG teams and Markets Business Managers to gain product and process knowledge, identify risks, and drive remediation with strong governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the design and implementation of effective controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks.
• Conduct independent reviews and oversee testing of controls to ensure effectiveness.
• Identify emerging risks and drive issue management from root cause analysis to remediation.
• Support control reviews, audits, and compliance activities across lines of defense.
• Assess risk in business decisions with focus on safeguarding Citigroup's reputation and assets.
• Lead process improvement by simplifying and standardizing controls.
• Partner with control teams to build a strong internal control environment.
