The ALF Competitive Intelligence (CI) Program at REED ELSEVIER SHARED SERVICES (PHILIPPINES) INC. seeks a Market Research & Competitive Intelligence Analyst to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources including Salesforce and Gong.

You will work with cross-functional teams to identify trends, needs, threats, and growth opportunities. You will produce competitive briefs, battlecards, and executive summaries to inform go-to-market strategies and business decisions across

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree holder.
Proven specialty in both qualitative and quantitative research.
Experience in market research, competitive intelligence, business analysis, or strategic insights.
Experience supporting B2B SaaS, technology, software, or professional services organizations.
Ability to gather, synthesize, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
Experience conducting customer interviews, surveys, or stakeholder interviews.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience creating reports, briefings, presentations, and executive summaries.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable collaborating with global cross-functional teams.
Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Experience working with conversation intelligence or customer insight platforms such as Gong (or ability to learn quickly).
Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.

Responsibilities

Conduct competitive and market research across our academic solutions landscape.
Monitor competitor activities, product launches, acquisitions, partnerships, and market signals.
Review and analyze win/loss data from Salesforce and other internal sources.
Conduct customer win/loss interviews and summarize findings.
Gather qualitative feedback from sales, customer success, marketing, and product teams.
Support development of competitive intelligence briefs and executive summaries.
Create and maintain competitive battlecards and competitor profiles.
Track emerging market trends, customer challenges, and industry developments.
Analyze data from Gong, Salesforce, customer feedback, and market research sources.
Prepare actionable recommendations and insights for Solution Marketing and business leaders.
Maintain structured repositories of competitive intelligence and market research assets.
