Job summary

Chailease Berjaya Finance Corporation in Pasig, Philippines is seeking a collections officer to monitor overdue accounts and engage clients by phone or electronic channels to discuss payment options. The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience, preferably in banking or financial services, with proficiency in Word and Excel.

You will maintain accurate records, follow up on delinquent accounts, and collaborate with the team to improve collection strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in any field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Preferably with experience in Banking/Financial Services.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handles and monitors in-house collection bucket of 90 or above past due.
• Contact clients via telephone or other electronic means to discuss their outstanding debts and payment options.
• Maintaining accurate records of all communications with clients.
• Collect payments and process them according to company policies and procedures.
• Follow up with clients who have not made payments as scheduled.
• Update company databases and report on collections activity.
• Collaborating with other team members, including supervisors, to improve collections strategies and meet goals.
