Qualifications

• Ability to work closely with member cooperatives' credit, collections and legal teams.
• Provide technical guidance, templates and best practices to strengthen collection capacity.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of cooperative and borrower information.
• Uphold ethical, fair and professional collection practices aligned with cooperative values.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized support for monitoring delinquent loan accounts endorsed by member cooperatives.
• Implement collection strategies for late-stage delinquencies in coordination with the concerned cooperative.
• Conduct follow-ups, negotiations and settlement discussions per approved policies.
• Coordinate with member cooperatives on payment arrangements, restructuring options and settlements.
• Support asset recovery actions, including repossession, custody, documentation and valuation.
• Coordinate with legal counsel and external service providers for recovery cases requiring action.
• Maintain complete and accurate case files for collection and asset recovery engagements.
• Ensure proper case escalation and handover from collections to asset recovery or legal action when warranted.
• Prepare regular reports on collection performance, recovery rates, asset status and timelines.
• Ensure activities comply with bylaws, MASS-SPECC policies, service agreements and applicable laws.
