Job summary

Fireworks seeks a Strategic Transactions & Partnerships Counsel to lead complex commercial deals at the intersection of procurement, partnerships, and model licensing. You will structure, negotiate, and close high-stakes agreements shaping the company’s AI roadmap.

You will collaborate with executives, advise on strategic implications of AI developments, and help build the transactional infrastructure needed for a fast-growing legal function. JD and US bar are required.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in complex commercial transactions, with both law firm and in-house experience.
• JD and US state bar admission.
• Experience leading end-to-end procurement, partnerships and licensing deals.
• Deep familiarity with the AI ecosystem and its legal questions.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and structure complex agreements including commercial transactions, partnerships, procurement, and licensing.
• Serve as the legal architect on first-of-their-kind deals with no template.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to align deal strategy with business objectives.
• Advise on commercial and strategic implications of the evolving AI landscape.
• Help build the transactional infrastructure and playbooks for a scaling legal function.
