Private Advertiser is seeking a Storeroom Keeper/Inventory Controller to oversee the storeroom operations for raw materials and spare parts. You will supervise inventory control, ensure precise documentation of receipts and issues, and monitor stock movements to maintain accurate records.
The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background, leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
To maintain effective control of all incoming and outgoing raw materials and spare parts, ensuring continuous availability to support production requirements.
Supervise and implement proper inventory control procedures for all raw materials and spare parts in the storeroom.
Ensure accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing stocks, including receipts, transfers, issuances, and returns.
Verify the accuracy of Receiving Reports against delivery documents and oversee the receiving process for all incoming deliveries.
Monitor inventory movement and stock status to maintain accurate and updated inventory records.
Prepare, review, and generate weekly and monthly inventory reports for various departments, including stock status, issuance summaries, transfers, and returns.
Collate, analyze, and provide relevant statistical inventory data to requesting departments or personnel.
Recommend and implement corrective and preventive measures to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Identify training and development needs of Storeroom Keepers and assist in improving team performance.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of materials and spare parts.
Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or any related engineering course.
Can work under pressure and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong leadership skills.
