Job summary

Two Oceans Leisure Development Corporation is seeking an Inventory/Storeroom Clerk to receive, inspect, record, and store supplies while maintaining a secure storeroom in accordance with FIFO/FEFO principles.

The role involves coordinating with Purchasing and Finance, performing regular stock counts, and assisting during audits. A degree or 2-year course in related fields and 1+ year in storeroom operations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or at least a 2-year course in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field
• Relevant work experience in hotel, warehouse, or inventory operations is an advantage
• More than 1 year of storeroom/warehouse operations, quality inspection and recordkeeping experience
• Knowledge in basic accounting and data entry
• Familiarity with MS Office, Google Sheets and inventory software

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring quantities, quality, and specs match approved documents.
• Record, label, and store all supplies, materials, equipment, and inventory items.
• Maintain a clean, organized storeroom.
• Issue supplies only upon approved requisition and maintain issuance records.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with records.
• Apply FIFO and FEFO to minimize spoilage and wastage.
• Monitor damaged, expired, missing, slow-moving, or excess stock.
• Maintain records of receipts, issuances, returns, transfers, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Finance, and other departments on deliveries and inventory concerns.
• Ensure safekeeping of supplies and prevent unauthorized access or loss.
• Follow company policies, inventory procedures, safety standards, and internal controls.
• Assist during audits and inventory-related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Procurement Manager
