Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation is seeking a Storeperson for its Didipio mine in the Philippines. The role oversees warehouse activities, receiving and issuing goods, stock control, and safe equipment checks, reporting to the Supervisor- Warehouse.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma, 1 year of warehousing experience, and a valid driver's license; forklift/telehandler certification and Pronto knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• At least 1 year experience in warehouse duties.
• Valid Professional Driver’s License preferred.
• National Certificate in Forklift/Telehandler is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Pronto is an advantage.
• Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Check, sort, label, bin, and issue goods and materials.
• Address simple warehouse issues promptly to meet operations goals.
• Stocktake inventory stock items regularly.
• Update picking slips, stock item returns, and related purchase orders.
• Ensure safe operation and check lifting equipment for hazards.
• Assist end-users with inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.

Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper.Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support themine.

Seeking asuitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Storepersonwho will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the commercial operations in alignment with the following OGC strategies objectives that demonstrates and positively recognized social responsibilities with communities. Established positive government relations that enable company activities. Maximize the value from our mineral resources, plant, and equipment. Value enhancement through cost management and continuous improvement processes and effective common OceanaGold framework.The role will report to the Supervisor- Warehouse.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Performs proper checking, sorting,labelling, binning, and issuance of goods andmaterials;
• Addresses simple warehouse issues and concerns with urgency to ensure the attainment of agreed operationsgoals;
• Demonstrates problem solving of simple to moderately complex challenges/issues relative to warehouseoperations;
• Prompt reporting of any warehouse related issues and/or concerns to immediate superiors forquick rectification;
• Performs regular stocktaking of inventory stockitems;
• Regular review and updating of picking slips, stock item returns, and delivered purchaseorders;
• Demonstrates diligence in the acceptance of goods/materials in unloadingmaterials;
• Regular checking of lifting equipment to ensure safeoperation;
• Maintaining floors free of slip and trip hazards by eliminating protruded stock items in its binlocation;
• Regular cleaning and disposing of al rubbish materials and regular sweeping inside the warehouse to avoid dust accumulation;
• Listen attentively to end-user inquiries and ask clarifying questions asneeded;
• Demonstrates patience and empathy when addressing end- user complaints orissues;
• Offer appropriate solutions or alternatives to meet end-userneeds.

Qualifications

• Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Corp. Values and the OceanaGoldWay;
• At least High Schoolgraduate;
• At least one ( 1 ) year experience in warehouseduties;
• With avalid Professional Driver’sLicense;
• With either Mechanical or Electrical trade is anadvantage;
• With National Certificate in Forklift/Telehandler is anadvantage;
• Knowledge in Pronto is anadvantage;
• With good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word,Outlook).
