Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering is required.
• Registered Mining Engineer status is required.
• Proficiency with mine design software and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support underground mining operations across planning, drill and blast, ventilation, backfill, load and haul, development, and dispatch.
• Assist with development and execution of mine plans to meet production targets.
• Monitor performance and provide technical recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency.

Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper.Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support themine.

This role plays acritical part in ensuring underground mining activities are executed in accordance with Life of Mine plans, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support underground mining operations across short-term planning, short interval control, drill and blast, ventilation, backfill, load and haul, development, anddispatch.
• Assist with the development and execution of mine plans to achieve production and development targets.
• Monitor operational performance and provide technical recommendations to improve productivity andefficiency.
• Prepare and review mine designs, schedules, and engineering reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and industry bestpractices.
• Identify, assess, and manage workplace risks while promoting astrong safetyculture.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions whererequired.
• Conduct regular field inspections and verify critical controls are in place andeffective.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams to optimise mining activities and achieve businessobjectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, and cost performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering.
• Registered MiningEngineer.
• Current Driver’s Licence, Radio Operator’s Licence, and Ventilation Engineer Registration.
• Knowledge of underground mining methods, drill and blast, ventilation, mine development, and load andhaul.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in mine design software and MicrosoftOffice.
• Safety-focused with strong attention todetail.
• Able to work independently and as part of ateam.
• Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
